In debate, offer a clear alternative and argue without insult.

If greater than fifty percent of what comes out of someone's mouth is negative, stay away.

Opponents sometimes must be opposed openly, but surprise can make that unnessecary.

Just because you complain doesn't mean you have high standards.

If you deal with someone who's always right, you'll never be.

Inaction can speak louder than action.

Beware of whoever obtains information from you and then claims to have already known it.

Invective and insult won't work on the committed opponent but salesmanship and consideration may work on the bystanders listening.
