What would you do if money was no object? It's a question often wondered in idleness, but under
the additional assumption that all the time in the world is included. Ben Gazzara's Paul Bryan character (a successful
lawyer) is told that he has around 24 months to live, perhaps less. Savings from his career offer the means to do all
the things he's wanted, but the incurable condition possibly will rob him of the time in which to do them all - or most.
So the series shows us episodes of a life being lived to the fullest, on a collision course with the oblivion that no one
can avoid. Perhaps that's how everybody should live, even under normal circumstances.
